This page sets out how orders are shipped, what happens if something goes wrong in transit, and our policy on returns and refunds for wholesale pallets bought from palletliquidation.co.uk.
Orders are shipped from our UK facility using standard freight arrangements suited to pallet-sized deliveries. [Courier or freight partner name to be confirmed]. Delivery is typically arranged to a business address or a location able to accept a full pallet delivery, since a pallet generally requires kerbside or ground-floor access and, depending on weight, equipment to unload safely. [Standard dispatch and delivery timeframes to be confirmed and inserted here].
We ship to buyers outside the UK. International buyers are responsible for any import duty, import VAT or customs charges applied on arrival in their own country, which are calculated by the relevant customs authority and courier rather than by us. These charges are separate from the delivery cost shown at checkout and should be factored into the buyer’s total cost before ordering.
If a pallet arrives visibly damaged, please note this with the courier at the point of delivery where possible and contact us [within a specified number of days, to be confirmed] with photographs of the damage and your order number. We will review transit damage claims on a case-by-case basis. This does not extend to condition issues with the stock itself, which are covered under our returns policy below rather than as transit damage.
Wholesale pallets are sold as-is and as a final sale. Because pallets are made up of liquidation, returned, surplus or clearance stock with condition that varies by item and is described on each product page to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing, we do not offer returns or refunds based on the buyer’s own assessment of stock condition, saleability, or resale outcome once an order has been dispatched.
This as-is, final sale basis is standard practice across the wholesale liquidation trade and reflects the nature of bulk stock purchases, where buyers are expected to assess the manifest and any stated condition grading before ordering rather than after delivery.
[This section needs a solicitor’s review before publishing.] If any of our pallets are purchased by an individual acting as a consumer rather than a registered trade or business buyer, statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may still apply, including rights relating to goods being as described and of satisfactory quality, and a cooling-off period for certain online purchases. A blanket as-is, final sale policy does not automatically override these statutory rights where a sale is treated as a consumer purchase rather than a business-to-business transaction. Whether and how this applies depends on how you structure sales, your terms and conditions, and who you are actually selling to, which is a legal question specific to your business rather than something a generic policy page can resolve. I’d strongly recommend having a solicitor confirm this section, and your terms and conditions more broadly, before this policy goes live, rather than publishing the as-is language as an absolute rule.
For any question about an order already placed, including shipping status or a damaged delivery, contact us through our contact page with your order number and we will look into it directly.
